ANYONE who believes it is acceptable to use their mobile phone whilst driving should read about the tragic deaths of Mark Sawar, Matthew Williamson and Michael Naylor.
It is known that Mr Sarwar had used his phone in the minutes before the accident on the A419, and he received a call at the moment the crash happened. The episode is a sobering reminder of the need to pay attention when driving.
Motorists should at least invest in a hands-free system and better still learn to wait until they have pulled over to use their phone.
