Chippenham Town Football Club have invited the Gateway Club of Chippenham to attend Hardenhuish Park on Wednesday 16th of October to take part in a very special evening.
"Many members of the Gateway Club are long established supporters of CTFC, and over the last few years a strong relationship has emerged between the two organisations.
"The Gateway Club are an non profit making organisation who's members are adults with learning difficulties or with special needs.
"Once a week the Gateway Club hold football training for its members which has been organised by ex CTFC Player Pete Donaghue and on Wednesday 16th October Gareth Davies and a few players have offered to give the Gateway Football Club a nights training.
"During the training Gareth will be preparing the Gateway Team, to play a 10 minute each way match, against a team of CTFC Supporters.
"The 20 Minute match will be played under full floodlights, with officials.
"Tony Godwin has kindly offered to kit the Gateway Club in a full CTFC strip.
"For the members of the Gateway Club, this will be a superb experience, and if you can support this event we will be extremely gratefull.
"As for the CTFC Supporters team, if you fancy playing then please let me know, bearing in mind that a few of the CTFC 1st team players will probably take sides with the Gateway Club.
"Please put this date in your diary, and come and support this event."
