CALNE Town were made to pay for some poor defending as Street grabbed two goals in the final seven minutes to take the points at Bremhill View on Saturday 28 September.
A brace of goals from Glenn Armstrong had twice put Calne in front, but the visitors' late double leaves Paul Rankin and Kelvin Highmore's men still without a league win.
Highmore felt his side should have run out comfortable winners after dominating the opening 45 minutes.
He said: "We should have had it sewn up by half time. We seemed to be cruising, but just couldn't finish off our chances.
"We tried to up the tempo after the break and had no problems until all of a sudden they equalised due to a lapse in concentration. I can't understand why because the defence has been our strength so far this season. We are scoring a couple of goals now, but are giving sloppy ones away at the back."
Highmore believes his players' disappointment at the final whistle serves as an indication of the strides the club have made this term.
Ben Moore caused havoc on the right wing as Calne dominated the opening half and the home side deservedly went in front when Armstrong nodded home James Lye's corner at the back post.
Armstrong then saw a goalbound header saved by goalkeeper Ross Ward, before Moore's header from Steve Davis' cross beat Ward but was cleared off the line by Street player-boss Gerry Pearson.
Street looked more menacing after the break and were level on the hour. Aaron Lomax broke clear on the right and crossed for Russell Hayter to sweep the ball home.
Armstrong converted Smart's long ball forward to put the hosts back in charge with 20 minutes left, but Street claimed their second equaliser when defender Jon Delahaye hammered the ball home from 15 yards after Calne failed to clear their lines.
More woeful defending led to the visitors' winner in the 87th minute. The hosts again struggled to clear the ball and John Hayter, so often a thorn in Calne's side, fired home from 18 yards.
Calne were without Nick Taylor, Liam Byfield and Jamie Butler for the clash, and Highmore and Rankin will be looking to add strength in depth to their squad.
Said Highmore: "We do need to get another couple of players in to strengthen it.
"We'll be looking for another midfielder and another attacker because we are still lightweight in terms of numbers in those areas."
Calne, who travelled to Bristol Manor Farm last night, are without a game on Saturday.
