A WEBSITE is available to help local businesses network and cut transaction costs.
The Buy Wiltshire website includes a business directory, a tenders section, a system to submit and track planning applications, a property search facility and many useful contacts. It can be found at www.buy-wiltshire.co.uk.
Buy Wiltshire was launched by Great Western Enterprise and offers free membership and a simple on-line registration process.
It is supported by West Wiltshire District Council through the West Wiltshire Economic Partnership.
The council's development portfolio holder, Cllr Jeff Osborn, believes the website can help businesses keep track of opportunities in the county and encourage the use of local suppliers.
"I would urge businesses across the district to register as they can only benefit from getting involved," he said.
