SHOPS in Bradford on Avon will join forces for an open day in the town centre on October 12. Traders and stallholders will put their wares on show in a bid to attract visitors to the town.
Butchers' The Real Meat Company will mark its arrival to Silver Street with a barbecue while china shop Tillion will be hosting competitions to celebrate 20 years' trading.
Stalls and a bouncy castle will be set up in Westbury Gardens and jazz band 4plus1 will play between 11am and 3pm on Knees Corner, near Le Mangetout restaurant.
John Durrant, a member of the town's chamber of commerce, said the event always proved to be a storming success.
"The open day was well supported last year and we had a very successful one in the spring. With the jazz band playing in the background it creates a great atmosphere.
"There will be a lot of stalls not normally in the town so visitors will have a lot to see."
