Last night in Brisbane there was a 'blackout' (possums in the main supply causing havoc, true!) and I found myself having a sing along with my daughter to pass the time.
Many a song related to my school years as a student at Lowbourne Junior in Melksham (35 years ago!).
How I wish I had a copy of the hymn book from those days... so many nice memories.
Mr Luckitt was tinkling the ivories during assembly back then.
Mr Blanche, Mr Patrick, Mr Lane and Mrs Rudwick (country dancing) were the wonderful teachers that have never allowed me to forget my time there. I was a student between 1967-1970.
Hello Melksham! I have never forgotten you.
