I WRITE in response Where does he stand? (Letters, September 27). The polarisation shown by Messrs Dorney & Hames is rather saddening.
My own experience of MPs of all persuasions, is that they work their socks off for us and none more than Dr Andrew Murrison.
No one could be more outspoken in the Commons!
To my mind, his weekly column in the Wiltshire Times breaks new ground, allowing you to see where he stands on current national and local issues on a week-by-week basis.
His independent views on Iraq, amounting to simple common sense, have been in other newspapers as recently as 25 September.
I personally appreciate he 'inside view' of Westminster that Dr Murrison often gives us, and trust that having to cater for doctrinaire political views will not get in the way of these intriguing items.
