TROWBRIDGE streets were filled with ceremonial colour when a drumhead service and parade took place to celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee year.
Sea and air cadets from Bradford on Avon, Trowbridge, Westbury, Bath and Chippenham joined Royal British Legion members for the event.
The Trowbridge White Ensign and Trowbridge Royal Air Force Association also formed up at the Civic Hall.
From there they marched to St James' Church in Trowbridge, which is where the drumhead service took place and the Queen's colour was received and blessed by the Rev Canon Bill Matthews.
Sea cadet chaplain, the Reverend Michael Brown, said: "It went very well.
"A lovely evening was had by all."
Trowbridge Orchestra provided music before the dinner and a string quartet provided music during the meal.
A charity fundraising dinner was also held that evening in St John's RC parish church.
The Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Sir Maurice Johnston KCB OBE, was the guest of honour at the dinner.
