BATH's hopes of a first win at Leicester in seven years have been dealt a severe blow with the news that playmaker Mike Catt will miss his third successive match.
Catt, 30, has again been sidelined by a niggling hamstring problem that also saw him miss clashes against Northampton and Gloucester.
It is a critical loss for team director Michael Foley who was hoping to pack his backline with experience against a an injury-hit Tigers' three-quarter unit .
Irish international Kevin Maggs returns to partner Mike Tindall in the centre. That means there is no place for young Alex Crockett man-of-the-match against Gloucester last week who reverts to the bench.
Bath: Barkley, Danielli, Maggs, Tindall, Voyce, Malone, Cooper, Barnes, Humphreys, Galasso, Beattie, Grewcock, G Thomas, Lyle, N Thomas. Subs: Blake, Mears, Crockett, Thirlby, Lloyd, Scaysbrook, Mallett.
