THE Federation of Small Businesses has welcomed the findings of a survey into advice sourced by Start-Up businesses.
The results of the survey, conducted by Atlantic Consultants, show that after personal advisers (such as accountants and solicitors) and Government agencies, Start-Up businesses will turn to the FSB before the local Chamber of Commerce and other trade organisations.
Commenting on the survey, regional chairman, Peter Blackburn said: "We are delighted to learn that 40 per cent of start-up businesses are aware of advice we may be able to offer.
"When they join the FSB each member has access to our free telephone legal advice service that took over 130,000 hits last year, which just goes to prove how vulnerable small businesses feel at times. "
