Steve Smart opened the scoring for the Colts with a precise lob from outside the area. But Liden came back strongly and were 3-1 up with only 20 minutes of the match gone.
The Colts responded with two goals from Danny King to ensure honours were even going into the interval.
The visitors put the pressure on in the second half with King completing his hat trick and Smart scoring his second before Liden pulled one back with 5 minutes to go.
In the Under 13 section, Marlborough Youth were edged out 4-3 by visitors Old Town United while Greenmeadow Youth enjoyed a 3-0 win at Wootton Bassett Town.
Two goals by Sofroniou helped Wroughton to a 3-1 win over Stratton Youth while goals from Gilder and Tate proved the difference in Stratton Juniors' 2-1 win over Westbrook.
In Division Two goals from Michell, Stairs and Wardale were not enough to prevent Walcot Wanderers going down 8-3 at Fairford.
Shaw Under 16s went goal crazy in their clash with Purton. Curtis netted six of his team's goals in a 12-0 win.
Lelliot claimed a hat trick with Child, Linton and Hankin also on target.
Brunel Boys saw off Croft Juniors 5-0 with goals from Gulliver, Garrad, Hay, Watson and Anid.
A goal from King was enough to give Eastville Boys victory at Liden Pumas.
But the busiest keeper of the weekend belonged to Stratton Youth Under 12s. Visitors Brunel Boys won 16-0. Dane Tregonine and Lee Beale both netted five times in the game.
