ELDENE'S three-year unbeaten home record remains in tact but the away goals rule ended their hopes of glory in the Cirencester and District Knockout Shield.
Ashton Keynes Under 12s forced a 3-3 draw with their hosts, a result which secured their passage into the next round following a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
Eldene took the lead after 10 minutes from a low shot after an excellent run from Jamie Hamill.
Ten minutes later Patrick Page levelled the tie.
David Barnham's strength allowed him to muscle through and put Ashton ahead, before Peter Lepan equalised with the goal of the game.
In the second half, Ashton took the lead again when Harry Hill beat the offside trap.
The hosts levelled once again from the penalty spot to preserve their unbeaten home record, but it was not enough to progress to the next round.
In the same competition. Malmesbury edged out Brunel Boys 3-2 on aggregate, while Cirencester Juniors' 9-0 win over Tetbury Town completed a 19-0 aggregate win.
As with their Under 12s, Eldene's Under 13s also fell victim to the away goals ruling, Cirencester edging through despite a 2-1 home defeat.
Down Ampney fought hard to make life difficult for Malmesbury, but the visitors eventually made it through to the semi-finals of the cup.
Malmesbury's 4-2 win completed an 8-4 aggregate victory. It also marked Malmesbury's 15th consecutive win in competitive games.
Cricklade's 4-2 win at Highworth saw them through to the next stage, having enjoyed a 4-1 win in the first leg.
Liden Community thrashed Oaksey 7-1, completing a 15-2 win over the tie.
In the Under 14s league it was a happy afternoon for Highworth.
They romped to a 7-0 win at Wroughton with Lorien Bardwell hitting four and Ryan King grabbing a hat trick.
Mitel won 1-0 at Malmesbury thanks to a David Young goal and established a three point lead at the top of the table, while Stratton Cirencester enjoyed a 5-0 win at Cirencester Juniors.
Tetbury Town cruised to a 3-0 win Ashton Keynes while Bourton Rovers and Cirencester Cents shared six goals in a 3-3 draw.
Liden Community lead the way in the Under 15s league after a 3-0 win at Cricklade.
Swindon Eagles trail them on goal difference after a 5-4 away win at Wroughton.
Stratton Juniors are the third team to boast an unbeaten record after a 2-1 win at Malmesbury.
Ferndale picked up their first points of the season in impreesive style, thrashing Blunsdon 8-1.
Liden Community won 3-0 at Cricklade while Wootton Bassett edged out Northleach Juniors 2-1.
