MORE than 300 people visited Coleshill Organics' open day. The farm, near Highworth, opened its doors to show the public what goes on behind the scenes at one of the most successful organic operations in the area.
Visitors were able to walk around six acres of walled garden and marvel at the 10-acre vegetable plot.
There was also an opportunity to indulge in apple tasting, barbecued sweet corn, watch a hurdle-making demonstration and enjoy tractor rides around the farm.
Pete Richardson, 43, who runs the business with Sonia Oliver, said: "We are continuing to expand. From a small start six years ago we are gradually taking on more customers each week.
"Our weekly organic vegetable box dispatch is a particularly popular line."
The farm sells more than 200 of its organic vegetable boxes a week.
