Atlantic rower Norman Butler has sold his boat, named Pride of Swindon, for an undisclosed fee.
A team from Lincolnshire has bought the boat, which will be used to attempt further Atlantic crossings.
Norman, 38, a commercial analyst, set off from the Canary Islands with his rowing partner Phil Scantlebury on October 9, but Mr Scantlebury had to be airlifted off the boat after receiving an injury, leaving Norman to row more than 100 miles alone.
