A CONTINGENT of 37 reservists from Swindon were among more than 100 on their way to the Gulf this morning.
There are those in the town who say such developments are wrong, and there are others who say war is the only way to rid the world of a murderous dictator.
But whatever one's stance, it would take a mean spirited person indeed to wish them anything other than a safe return home.
Let us remember that their main mission is to protect their fellow Allied soldiers from the sort of chemical weapons Saddam Hussein has shown no hesitation in using on his own people, let alone enemies.
