The Federation of Small Businesses is cycling for Macmillan Cancer Relief.

Rupert Cox, regional organiser for the Federation of Small Businesses' Somerset and Wiltshire region, together with Paul Goffe from its Bristol and Gloucestershire offices are joining forces to ride a tandem bicycle in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief.

Their 180-mile cycle ride will start from north of Stroud in Gloucestershire to Bath, Melksham, Devizes, Salisbury and out into the big wide world of Hampshire, and West Sussex before coming to rest in Brighton in time for the FSB's National Conference on March 21.

Commenting on the fundraising effort, Rupert Cox said: "Macmillan Cancer Relief is a cause we can all relate to. The support we have been offered by friends and colleagues so far has been tremendous."

Paul Goffe added: "The small business community has rallied round to support us, and we start with nearly £2,000 pledged."
