GREEN BAIZE are closing in on the Umbro Veterans Cup after another fine win at the weekend.
Tony Bedwell's team of ageing all stars beat their Corinthian Casuals counterparts 4-3 in an over 35s contest.
Former Swindon stars Paul Bodin and Martin Ling gave Green Baize a 2-1 lead.
Jonny Appleyard made it 3-2 after the Casuals had levelled, but the hosts hit back again to make it 3-3.
Corsham Town player-boss John Freegard had the final say with the winner 15 minutes from time.
Green Baize now need just a point from their final ground game to make the national final.
