JACK Heard made a spectacular return to action for North Bradley, bagging a hat-trick in his side's 5-0 demolition of Old Lane United in Division Two of the Vanitec-sponsored Chippenham & District Sunday League.
Playing his first match for the club for two years, Heard delivered a superb display of finishing in a game that was shortened due to a serious injury to Old Lane's Gerard Fawcitt.
Fawcitt suffered a broken ankle in a 22nd-minute challenge, forcing the game to be held up for 25 minutes, then reduced to 30 minutes each way.
Bradley were already leading 3-0, thanks to two Heard strikes and an Andy Colebrook effort. A further Heard strike and Lee Wilson's goal sealed it.
The top of the table clash between leaders Chippenham Black Horse and second placed Semington Rovers was postponed with Rovers unable to raise 11 fit men.
Biddestone Social Club took full advantage of Semington's inaction to snatch second spot after a 4-1 win over Pig & Whistle.
James Tindell scored his first ever hat-trick for the club with Neil Harlock adding another. Aaron Richardson bagged his first of the season as United's consolation.
North Star A picked up a point from their 1-1 draw with Wingfield, Nick Fielding's strike being erased by Mark Barnett for Wingfield.
Spencer Sports fell behind to Nick Slade's 14th of the season for Sutton Benger but hit back to win 3-1 with goals for Steve Cleverly, John Knight (pen) and Brad Jenkins' own goal.
Farmhouse brought Christian Malford's nine-match unbeaten run to a halt, with a convincing 5-1 win.
Ian Ramsey scored the consolation as Neil Taylor (2), Adam Sheppard (pen), Mark Townsend and Steve Coveney shared the winners' goals.
PREMIER DIVISION
Percy's look to have taken a stranglehold on the race for the title following their 5-3 victory over Bradford News.
They were 5-0 to the good before the Newsmen hit back with three goals in the final 20 minutes. Neil Shardlow, Dave Kilmurray, Luke Chapman and Frank Rogers (2) shared Percy's strikes with Charlie Powell scoring all three for the Newsmen
Pre-season favourites Box Rovers all but threw away their chances after falling for a second consecutive week to Malmesbury Victoria.
Vics followed up last week's 2-1 win with a 5-3 victory.
Rovers, who could only field 10 men, fell behind to Richard Skull's opener, before goals from Wayne Munday, James Lye and Jamie Harrison put them 3-1 ahead.
But Malmesbury hit back with a hat-trick from Andy Wicks and an Anthony Vizard strike to snatch victory.
All Cannings A dropped a vital point against strugglers Winsley, who claimed a deserved 2-2 draw.
Carl Harfield opener for Winsley was cancelled out by Nick Oram before Martin Baker made it 2-1 to Cannings, only for Oram to put through his own net.
Hullavington Village extended their unbeaten run to six matches by defeating Dog & Fox Ashley 2-1.
Steve Roddy gave the Dog an early advantage before Phil Garland and Darren Legg struck for Hullavington.
DIVISION ONE
LEADERS West Lavington extended their lead to seven points after a 3-2 victory over promotion rivals West End Wanderers.
Lavington were gifted the lead by Wanderers' keeper Craig Woodruff whose attempt to clear the ball ended up in his own net.
John Price levelled before the interval only for Lee Sanders to put the front runners back in command.
Price levelled again but Simon Drewitt sealed Lavington's win with his 21st goal of the season.
Andy Long and Andy Moules' first goals of the season for Colerne FC helped them to defeat Atworth United side 3-0, Steve Tarren completed the scoring from the spot.
Simon Vowden and Daylan Gleed also found the mark for the first time this term as their efforts and Simon Hillier's strike led Maud Heath Sports to a 3-1 victory over Gladstone Liberal Club, for whom Luke Stonehan replied.
Terry's FC stole a point with a late equaliser in a 4-4 draw against Trowbridge Harriers.
John Hubbard (pen), Jamie Burbedge and Andy Cooper made Terry's pay for their missed chances when the trio fired Harriers 3-0 ahead.
Dean Gumm. Dominic Gorton and an Andy Bateman own goal saw the scores level before Cooper made it 4-3 to the Harriers. Gumm scored again to give Terry's a point.
DIVISION THREE
Southwick left it late before sealing a 2-1 win against Rowde.
Gareth Colebrook put them ahead but Jamie Mullins levelled before Jamie Moth crashed home the winner in the 89th minute.
Corsham Park Rangers defeated Roadrunners 5-2 as Kelvin Stewart (3), Paul Smith and Mark Wolf were on target. Andy Zuk's double accounted for Roadrunners' strikes.
AFC Unicorn hit back to share a 2-2 draw with Sir Audley's Arms.
They were two down to a Paul Woolford own-goal and Steve Shipway before Stuart Thorburn and Dean Fry grabbed a point.
Blue Circle Saints beat Somerford in a seven-goal thriller, Saints winning 4-3 with goals from Steve Martin, Richard Frankcom, Martin Hemmings and Russell Dyer.
Gavin Klukowski, John Goad and Jason Martin replied.
DIVISION FOUR
Pacesetters Four Seasons almost came unstuck against Old Road Tavern who were four minutes away from claiming an unlikely point before falling 2-1.
Steve Hunt put Seasons' one up, but Andy Crayford levelled before Gary Banks' deflected shot won it for the leaders.
Goals from Andy Strange and Kez Russell were not enough to save KSM from losing 7-2 against Trowbridge Town Supporters Club, for whom strikes by Steve Munday (3), Chris Purdom, Nick Buckle, Simon Hussey and Chris Darling were enough.
Second placed Westbury Rangers B dropped a vital point in a 1-1 draw with All Cannings B.
Mike Balchin's 87th minute strike cancelled out Sam Patton's goal for Cannings, for whom keeper Mark Colton saved a Shane Rendell penalty.
Bradstone Rovers and Parsons Nose battled out a 2-2 stalemate, Rovers overcoming a two-goal deficit with Alan Eades brace.
Wayne Bailey and Simon Wheeler had put Parsons in front
Richard Siekiera, Peter Huntley and Darren Brown were amongst the goals for Potterne FC. who defeated the Plough 3-0.
White Horse's promotion hopes all but disappeared after a 3-2 defeat against North Star B.
Andy Cahill and Paul Phelps hit the Horse's goals with Shaun King (2) and Terry Cox bagging the Star's.
