A drive in the sports car is one of the lots on offer in an auction of promises being held by Croft Playgroup to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
Other items include services donated by parents, tickets to Wiltshire's major tourist attractions; cinema tickets, fitness club memberships vouchers for meals out and a top worn by Tracy Shaw, who played Maxine Peacock in Coronation Street. The playgroup has also collected 13 celebrity autographs. It relies on fundraising to cover its costs and money raised from the auction will be used to purchase toys and equipment.
The auction and quiz evening is at the Swindon Marriott Hotel on Sunday and tickets cost £10. For more information call Vivienne Wise on 618192 or e-mail her on vivienne.wise@virgin.net
