Such a smart place, but for how long we wonder. Already we notice that patients at Great Western Hospital are standing outside the main entrance in their pyjamas, sometimes covered with their dressing gowns, in order to have a smoke.
Even this morning just a few minutes before the Duke of Edinburgh was due to arrive, we saw a woman patient attached to her drip-stand just leaning against a wall puffing.
We would have hoped that this sight which greeted the public at the entrance to Princess Margaret Hospital would surely not be allowed at this lovely new hospital.
