LUDGERSHALL, is the next location for the mobile learning unit run by Salisbury College and it will be located in the car park at the Queens's Head in Ludgershall High Street, from next Monday March 11 to Friday April 11.
The unit, which aims to take low cost Information Technology training to local communities, is offering courses to students over the age of 16 years.
Taster courses are available for the beginner or you can take the Computer Literacy and Information Technology course leading to a nationally recognised qualification. Either the full award may be taken or you can take individual units, which include word processing, internet and email, spreadsheets, databases, desk top publishing, carts and graphs, computer art, web pages and presentation graphics in PowerPoint. The European Computer Driving Licence can also be taken.
Enrolment for courses is being held on Monday, March 10, from 2pm to 8pm and Tuesday, March 11, from 10am until 4pm. If you miss the enrolment days, you can enrol by arrangement with the mobile learning unit manager, Greg Newman by visiting him on site or by contacting him on 07876 502491.
