THE next meeting of the Wiltshire Rural Business Club is on March 18 at which the speaker will be Justin Allison.
Mr Allison, who creates and writes all types of sales communication, will talk on how to win sales and influence people.
Brought up in Dorset, he has worked as a copywriter and creative director in London, Paris, Brussels, Milan and Zurich, as well as locally.
Before that he worked as a tractor driver.
"Tractors are an interesting marketing analogy," he said.
"Their forte is fitness for purpose, simple solutions and total integrity, yet they've been marketed like cars, for almost as long as cars have.
"Selling is about benefits, but which ones? And how do you communicate them?"
The meeting is at the Emblems Restaurant in Fovant and starts at 6pm.
At the previous meeting, solicitor David Ridley gave a talk on employment law, covering taking on an employee to dismissing him or her. He also explained some of the forthcoming changes to employment law and some new legislation.

The club is sponsored by Salisbury and West Wiltshire district councils and Wiltshire Rural Development Programme.
It is supported by Business Link Berkshire and Wiltshire.
