Cheltenham here we come
Two Cheltenham hopefuls are being trained in the Woodford Valley by Seamus Mullins at his busy Wilsford yard. Farmer Jack is to run in next week's Arkle Challenge Trophy at the festival and See You Sometime, already a winner at Wincanton, will be in the Coral Cup Handicap Hurdle field.
Stilemans start for league season
THE 2003 South East Eventers League gets underway this weekend at Stilemans, near Godalming in Surrey.
The pre-novice and novice event, which has attracted top international riders such as Pippa Funnell and Kristina Cook opens the league's ninth season.
The first local event, which includes an international one-day, will be at Somerley Park near Ringwood on April 2-3. The event is organised by Adele Schardt and Suzie Cotterill who have seven horses running out of Eleda Stables. Suzie's intermediate mare Eleda Rising will be ridden by Dibby Card.
