FUNDRAISERS in Cricklade aim to stage the town's biggest breakfast yet in aid of Cancer Research UK.
The United Church Hall in Calcutt Street is the venue for Cricklade's contribution to the charity's annual national fundraising event on Friday.
Organiser Jan Whitley said: "We are holding the breakfast party between 7am and noon, for anyone who would like to come.
"We are providing a choice of a cooked breakfast or a continental breakfast and are hoping people will pop in."
The event has been running for five years and last year about 100 people came to Cricklade to offer donations in exchange for breakfast.
The charity's Gloucester-shire community fundraiser, Rachel Hurring, said: "Britain's Biggest All-Day Breakfast was a huge success last year, raising £200,000. The response was phenomenal, with thousands of breakfast parties taking place locally in schools, workplaces, community centres, hospitals and homes. This year, we are hungry to make it even bigger."
