A new drama group in Westbury is on the lookout for budding dancers and actors to come along to auditions this weekend.

The newly formed Kris Kros Kidz drama group is holding auditions on Sunday for its first production, and the organisers are promising everyone who auditions will get a part.

The first production is a comedy musical called Dazzle.

It has a space theme and requires singers, actors and dancers in the full cast.

Kris Kros Kidz secretary Barbara Maxwell said: "The group is aiming to give youngsters the chance to express themselves in a new format and also have a great time.

"Anyone who likes to sing, dance or act is more than welcome to join us but if you would prefer to be behind the scenes that is fine too."

If anyone is keen to make costumes or plays an instrument they are urged to go along to the audition as well.

Auditions are open to eight to 18-year-olds, and each child must pay £15 at the audition to be in the production.

This fee covers insurance costs, a copy of the script and a free CD of the music from the show.

Auditions are at the Laverton Hall in Bratton Road on Sunday March 9, from 12pm to 3pm.
