Library members in Highworth can now enjoy free Internet access.
Peoples' Network is a Government initiative giving everyone the opportunity to surf the net.
It is billed as placing facilities such as Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Paint at the public's fingertips.
Members can book computers for up to two hours.
Anybody wishing to join the scheme is asked to take along proof of identification and address to obtain membership.
The Highworth Library is open from 9am to 1pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and again from 2pm until 5pm on Mondays and Fridays. It is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Late night access is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, when the library remains open until 7.30pm.
Further information is available from the library itself on Swindon 463500.
