KEVIN Banks headed a late leveller as Melksham Town did struggling local rivals Devizes a favour at bottom club Welton Rovers.
Robbie Lardner's men found themselves three goals behind with just 20 minutes remaining, but fought back to secure a 3-3 draw.
Welton took the lead after five minutes through Lee White and doubled their advantage when Jason Lunt scored an own goal.
Aaron Blake made it three five minutes after the break and the hosts had a goal disallowed before substitute Andy Sandell pulled a goal back for Melksham after 70 minutes.
Matthew Messenger set up a tense finale when he scored with a header and Banks, who has recently returned from injury, glanced home the equaliser in the last minute.
Melksham are away to Elmore tomorrow and entertain Bridport on Tuesday night, kick-off 7.30pm.
