EXMOUTH overcame the first half sending off of captain Terry Price to snatch a point in Saturday 1 March clash between the second and third placed teams in the First Division.
United opened the scoring in the 10th minute with a wonderful team goal. Steve Perkins and Toby Colbourne combined to set up Jerad O'Pray who turned and flicked the ball past Exmouth keeper Simon Harris.
Price was sent off in the 40th minute. He had earlier been booked for a foul and his second yellow was for kicking out at Colbourne.
Colbourne put United two goals up in the 50th minute with his 21st goal this season. He was set up by Matt Burton who passed into the box and Colbourne finished with ease from near the penalty spot.
The controversial turning point came with 10 minutes remaining when, following a scramble, Richard Spiller stabbed the ball into the net and the referee over-ruled the linesman's offside flag.
With United looking to play out time, Spiller snatched a point with his second goal in the last minute.
Westbury travel to Bristol Manor Farm tomorrow.
