THOUSANDS of pounds could be spent on lighting up buildings around Warminster.
Lights have already been put up on the Obelisk and Cllr Paul Batchelor is keen to show off some of the historic buildings in the town.
These could include the Athenaeum, the Chapel of St Lawrence and the former post office.
Cllr Batchelor said: "Because of the success of the lights at the Obelisk it would be nice to light up some other areas.
"It would enhance the architectural heritage of the town.
"The running costs would not be that high and it would cost around £5,000 to light each building."
