A CAR club is stepping up its drive to increase membership after a successful start.
The A2B car club in Bradford on Avon says several thousand residents live within five minutes of its cars, which are based at the station. Now one car will be moved north of the river to cater for newer members.
Club manager Grant Pearson said: "We are now offering 10 new founder memberships. These will be available to any residents at preferential start-up rates."
Club members have the use of a new Vauxhall Astra or Corsa, which can be booked by the hour or the day.
Marketing manager Charles Dewey said: "Bradford on Avon has been fortunate enough to win government funding to launch this scheme, which is one of the first of its kind in the country.
"We are keen for the whole of the town to take advantage of this marvellous opportunity and play a part in its early growth. This is why we have launched the founder member scheme."
