YOUNGSTERS in Bradford on Avon were treated to a royal occasion with an afternoon of half-term fun at the library.
The workshop gave children aged five-eight the chance to make their own crowns and talk about what would happen if the Queen visited.
Community librarian Penny England said: "They were told a story about the Queen and a visit to Bradford on Avon. They then had to decide how they were going to prepare for it and research what questions they might be asked about Bradford on Avon.
"They were very knowledgeable and certainly enjoyed it. They all made beautiful crowns and paraded them round the library. We had a full house with 22 children and their parents. It was good fun."
The half term event coincided with the town's turn to host the photographic exhibition Crowning Occasions, which is touring the county.
The exhibition chronicles three centuries of royal visits to events and places in Wiltshire.
