A CLUB for professional and business women is running a competition to find a the Swindon teenager who has given outstanding help to a group or person in the local community.
The Soroptimist Club of Swindon and District, part of a world-wide women's service organisation, is looking for somebody between the ages of 13 and 19 who has lent a hand to people who need help.
Jan Messenger, the club's president-elect, said: "It could be a youngster who regularly visits a housebound pensioner, or does shopping or who helps with gardening and other chores for somebody who cannot get about."
The winner will receive £50 cash and a framed award certificate, and another £50 to give to his or her favourite charity.
