CHILDREN at Longmeadow Primary School in Trowbridge put on such a good performance at a Stars In Their Eyes night that their parents now want their own show.
The youngsters took to the stage as their favourite artists, from Shania Twain to Kylie, to raise money for their school.
Head teacher Maria Vinney said: "It was an absolutely amazing night, really brilliant. The hall was packed out and every single act got a big cheer."
The competition was judged by a panel of four independent judges, including one child, and the overall winners were Patricia-Ann Downing, six, and Karrianne Hudd, nine, who impersonated the Cheeky Girls.
The school is hoping that a version of the show can be organised for parents.
The children's show raised over £100 for the school, some of which will be used to buy a microphone and amplifier for the youngsters.
The school encourages community involvement and is also keen on promoting the arts.
