Purton will be looking for plenty of vocal support from the Red House faithful this weekend when they entertain Southall Town in the first leg of the Supplementary Cup semi-final, writes Ray Burroughs.

It is the biggest game of the season for Alan Clark's side who are playing with much more consistency and confidence.

"We are all looking forward to the game," said the Purton boss. "We are happy to be the underdogs. We seem to be playing quite well at the moment, I have got the best squad since I have been at the club."

Visitors Southall Town will not be an easy side to beat. They are currently in sixth spot in the Premier Division.

A bumper crowd is expected at Highworth where the home side entertain local rivals Fairford Town. Highworth still have an outside chance of the title if they keep winning their games, but boss John Fisher believes this will be a close game.

"It's another must win game for us, "said Fisher. "We will be at full strength and it will down to the better side on the day wins."

Fairford manager Mark Webb said: "We have got a lot of respect for Highworth and we will need to be on top of our game. Steve Thomas and Jeremy Newton are out for Fairford, while Warren Fuller could return before the end of the season for HIghworth.

Wootton Bassett are at home to Bishops Cleeve. Bassett put up a spirited fight at Highworth in midweek and if they can produce that form could get a result. Pewsey Vale face a trip to Abingdon.

New College Academy have an away game with fellow strugglers Easington Sports and need to start picking up some points. Mid-table Shrivenham are away to Headington Amateurs, Malmesbury Vics visit Clanfield and Cirencester United are at home to Ross Town.
