CHIPPENHAM TOWN'S whole season could hinge on the next four days.

A disappointing mid-week Dr Martens Cup exit at Halesowen leaves the Bluebirds with just the Wiltshire Premier Shield and ever-decreasing title hopes to play for.

If Town fail to beat fellow championship outsiders Stafford tomorrow and lose the W.P.S. semi-final clash at Salisbury on Tuesday, their season will effectively be over.

It's a massive week for Tommy Saunders and he has not been helped by an ever-increasing list of absentees.

Matt Rawlins is recovering after being attacked on the streets of Bristol on Sunday and fellow winger Steve Brown is doubtful following the knock he picked up at Worcester. New signing Scott Walker will make his home debut as Brown's replacement.

Mark Harrington is still sidelined after an ankle op, while Gareth Davies is also struggling.

Goalkeeper James Bittner, who trains with Queen's Park Rangers during the week, has been linked with a call-up to the Loftus Road first team squad for their match with Bristol City on Saturday.

But Saunders is confident his No. 1 will be available for the Stafford clash. Liam Bull stands by in case Bittner gets the call.
