A talk exploring the conflicts between conservation and development in Cotswold Water Park is to be held on Thursday.
Dr Simon Pickering, the park's biodiversity and conservation officer, is discussing how development pressure is balanced with the area's conservation needs.
Cotswold Water Park contains some invaluable areas for nature conservation set among sections of housing development and intensive agriculture.
Visitors are invited to come along and find out how the balance is achieved.
The talk starts at 7pm at the Millennium Visitors Centre, Keynes Country Park.
Admission is free, although donations are welcome.
