THIS was a do-or-die relegation dog-fight. The loser would almost certainly be relegated and possibly the winner too.
After 15 minutes the home side made the first incisive break, John Cotton slicing through with Ben Butterworth and Graham Reynolds in support. The try was converted.
Back came Melksham, and the home defence allowed centre Paul Simmons to score a converted try under the posts. Cotton and Richard Woolford exchanged penalties before half-time to make it 10-10.
The start of the second half was all Bradford, a Ben Butterworth interception try making it 15-10.
