NINE people have been charged following disturbances at RAF Fairford on Sunday.
Some 19 peace protestors were arrested after an incident in which some demonstrators cut through the perimeter fence of the US airbase on Sunday afternoon.
Police said those arrested were aged between 19 and 37 and came various parts of the country. None were from Wiltshire.
Nine were charged with aggravated trespass, five were released without charge, three were released on police bail and two were released with official cautions.
Currently 14 B-52 bombers are at RAF Fairford being prepared for possible deployment against Iraq.
Gloucestershire Police have invoked powers to stop and search anyone found within a mile of the air base.
