A Government minister has praised a local hi-tech company for setting a great example to others.
The plaudit for Swindon Silicon Systems came from Nigel Griffths, the DTI minister for the development of the UK's small businesses who recently visited the company's Radnor Street premises.
The Minister was there to hear about the company's expansion plan, and to discuss issues facing local small and medium-sized businesses.
He said: "Small companies with innovative and practical technological solutions like those developed here have great potential.
"They deserve good support because they set a great example to others."
SSSL employs 40 people in Swindon and exports its products across the world, with major clients including Schrader, Ericsson, Honeywell and Alstom.
