RABBIT-mad friends Sarah Hawker and Lisa Fryer have organised a bunny photo show to raise money for two animal charities.
Mrs Hawker and Mrs Fryer, who both live in Chippenham, have joined forces with Bristol bunny enthusiast Abbie Jordan to put on the contest and now they are looking for entries.
Rabbit owners are invited to take pictures of their pets, and to enter them in one of 12 categories such as most cheeky bunny, bad hare day, and most chilled out bunny.
Judging will take place on May 18 and winners will receive rosettes, as well as a host of prizes donated by various rabbit-related organisations.
All money raised from the competition will be donated to the Tufty Fund, an organisation dedicated to promoting rabbit care, and the North West Rabbit Welfare Project.
Mrs Hawker, of Ray Close, has two rabbits, a French Lop called Basil and a German Lop called Monty.
She said: "We hope to raise awareness and promote understanding of domestic rabbits as unfortunately, very little is understood about basic rabbit care."
Anyone keen to enter the competition can find details on the website www.fluffymonsters.co.uk or by ringing (01249) 464115.
