THE prosecution, in the trial of two men accused of conspiracy to burgle, following a raid on Swindon based Motorola, was due to rest its case today.
Arfan Khan, 25, of Ferndale Road, Swindon, and Martin Miller, 23, of Melfort Road, Peckham, London, both deny conspiracy to burgle between December 19, 1999 and June 2, 2002.
Swindon Crown Court has heard how Kevin Leslie, an employee at Surrey-based Sun Microsystems, fed a gang inside information on the whereabouts of the firm's computer equipment in businesses around the South West.
While Khan and Miller deny involvement, seven men have pleaded guilty to conspiracy, including 26-year-old Sajid Khan of Manchester Road.
The court has been hearing evidence from members of the National Crime Squad, who uncovered the gang's plot and carried out surveillance on them, before swooping as they stole computer kit worth £20,000 from Motorola's Euroway site last June.
