YOUTH RUGBY: CHIPPENHAM'S junior teams have it all to play for in their respective Wiltshire Cup competitions as the season draws to a close.
The U13s have already won the Bristol Combination Cup and have one more pool game to play in their Wiltshire Cup campaign.
If they beat Devizes on Sunday, they will then have a home semi-final match against Trowbridge the following Sunday March 23. The final will be played on March 30 against either Wootton Bassett or Salisbury.
Chippenham U14s have also won the Bristol Combination Cup. They also have one more match to play in the Wiltshire Cup which, like their U13s counterparts, is against Devizes this Sunday. A win on Sunday will see them lift the Cup.
The U15s lost in the final of the Bristol Combination Cup, but are unbeaten in the Wiltshire Cup with two games to play. The deciding match for the U14s will be the game against Salisbury on March 30.
As both teams are likely to be unbeaten at that point of the competition, the match will be to all intents and purposes a cup final. The match against Salisbury will be played at Allington Field.
The U16s, beaten semi-finalists in the Bristol Combination Cup, face Swindon in the Wiltshire Cup on Sunday and finish their campaign with a home game against Wootton Bassett. The match against Bassett will be the decider on March 30 and will also be played at Allington Field.
In all age groups, the winners of the Wiltshire Cup will meet the winners of Dorset's equivalent competitions at Supermarine on Sunday April 27 to decide the overall Dorset and Wiltshire Champions.
