Trowbridge Town represent the Wiltshire League in the quarter-finals of the Wilts Senior Cup when they visit Screwfix side Devizes Town this weekend.
The home team's recent FA Vase exploits have been the highlight of the local soccer scene lately and no doubt they will be hoping for it to continue against Trowbridge.
The visitors however will be no pushover having beaten Bemerton Heath in the previous round on their own ground 3-0.
Manager Neil Kirkpatrick has a good blend of youth and experience in his side and will be capable of exploiting any weaknesses in the Western League outfit.
In the Premier Division of the Wilts League, third in the table Wroughton have a chance to move into second spot if they can secure all three points in their home game with Corsham Town Reserves.
All matches for the top three sides are must-win games in the countdown to the Premier Division title.
Leaders Shrewton United visit Bradford Town and although the home side have been stringing together some useful results of late the Shrewton strike force of Dean Foot, Jessie Walters and Micky Ball could prove just too much for them.
Second-in-the-table Stratton Crosslink are without a game.
Cricklade Town have slipped down to mid-table after an indifferent run of results and three points against Marlborough Town will put a smile back on the face of manager Graham Jackson.
Purton Reserves entertain Pewsey Vale Reserves at the Red House and should get a result while Chiseldon Castrol bottom-but-one in the section will need to produce something a bit extra to get a result at Warminster.
In the Intermediate section, leaders Dunbar Westside travel to Trowbridge Reserves and could be in for a tough game while second placed Wanborough United would be expected to pick up the points against bottom club Blunsdon United.
Top game in the Junior Division could well be at Aldbourne when the league leaders take on fourth in the table Wootton Bassett United. Bassett are just four points behind the leaders with half a dozen games in hand and the home side face a must-win situation.
Cricklade Town Reserves also in with a shout of the Junior Division title visit neighbours Blunsdon United Reserves in a local derby clash and a victory could keep the leaders well within their sights.
Second-in-the-table Ferndale Rodbourne are in action in the Wilts Junior Cup and third placed Wroughton Reserves are without a game.
