In a change from big hair or waxed legs, one member of staff from Brake Bros in West Swindon bathed in beans for Comic Relief.

Angela Mullan, 22, who works in the telesales department, volunteered to bathe in baked beans outside the Westmead Industrial Estate building. She said: "It is an interesting experience I have never done anything like this before. The beans are very cold and heavy and if you move they do begin to smell. But it's not too bad. It's all a bit of fun and a great cause.

"I am not sure what this will do for my complexion though."

Around 18, 2.5kg tins of beans were used to fill the bath.
