Managers from nPower in Dorcan were soaked to the skin to raise funds for Comic Relief yesterday.
Employees at the firm paid £1 for three sponges or £3 for a bucket to soak their favourite managers in the car park of the firm in Dorcan.
The managers had little idea what to expect, simply asked by employees to bring a change of clothes for the next day. Six managers were tied loosely to the trees for soaking event to take place.
David Brown, reconciliation controller at nPower in Dorcan helped to instigate the event.
He said: "It was great fun, and we are all pleased with the take-up of the event and everyone seems to have enjoyed themselves.
"It was a brave person who used the custard pies though they were in danger of being hit by water themselves."
"In the end it ended up as a huge water fight, and we managed to raise more around £100 so we were very pleased."
