WILTS LEAGUE Premier leaders Shrewton United kept the goals flowing with a 5-3 away win over Bradford Town.

Dean Foot's hat-trick proved decisive as the striker quickly converted a cross from Jessie Walters early in the game to put United ahead. Nick Jones added a second just before the break following a good cross from Shaun Collins.

After the interval, Walters was brought down in the box and Foot scored from the spot then completed his hat-trick shortly after to bring the score to 4-0.

Charlie Powell pulled a goal back for the home side but play switched straight to the other end and Walters added a fifth. The home side burst into life scoring two goals through Roddy and Powell to give the leaders an uncomfortable time at the death.

Wroughton moved into second spot with a 1-0 win over Corsham Reserves, the all-important goal coming from Darren King.

There was a seven-goal thriller at Biddestone where the home side defeated visitors Aldbourne 4-3.

John O'Meara opened the scoring for the home side, Tim Tasker converting a penalty for a second.

Aldbourne fought back to score through John Allaway just before the break. Steve Healey made it 3-1 soon after the restart but the Swindon side replied twice to level the scores at 3-3 through Steve Hewitt and Danny Morton.

Danny Jones became the Biddestone hero netting the winner with 10 minutes to go.

Goals from Danny Bateman, Craig Lewis and Paul Farrell gave Warminster a 3-0 win over Chiseldon Castrol.

Simon Pugh was on target with two goals for Purton Reserves in their 2-1 win over Pewsey.

Malmesbury Vics and Westbury United shared the points in a 1-1 draw, Ben Wright for the Vics and Sam Tucker for Westbury.

Intermediate section leaders Dunbar Westside collected another three points with a 1-0 away win over Trowbridge Town Reserves. Hewlett struck for Dunbar in the 47th minute.

Stratton Crosslink Reserves beat Biddestone Reserves 2-1, with Darren Jell and Rick Casey on target for the winners.

Second-placed Wanborough beat Blunsdon 7-2, their top marksman Paul Parsons scoring five of the goals.

Junior section leaders Aldbourne were well beaten by visitors Wootton Bassett United 6-1. Steve Thomas (2), Wayne Arnold, Gary Loveday, Brett Reynolds and Jeremy Newton netted for United.

Cricklade Reserves moved into second spot following their 3-1 away success over local rivals Blunsdon United Reserves. An Ian Ross hat-trick proved the difference. Ryan Wheeler also scored a hat-trick in West Swindon's 5-0 win over Sporting HKQ.

Dunbar Westside Reserves made it a good day for the club by beating Chiseldon Castrol 3-0, Chris McConnell (2), and John Webb the scorers. Minety moved off the bottom of the table after beating Wanborough United Reserves 3-2, with Willie Wood (2) and Graham Read on target.
