THERE is a wealth of difference between officially monitored, integrative levels of migrants being allowed into this country and the unholy debacle that currently passes as immigration policy as Anne Lubin well knows.

Likewise she is also fully aware that countries such as the USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand etc have strictly administered entry quotas and admittance requirements.

They exercise their prerogative in deciding who and how many shall enter their country with little or no chorus of discontent coming from human rights troupes because the people know that the measures applied are not racist but simply show common sense regard for the future quality of life of their residents.

A conservative population-growth forecast for Britain predicts an increase of more than seven million over the next three decades. Whether that number proves correct or not, we are already many times more densely populated than other European countries; our present problems of overcrowding can and will only get worse.

All common sense and belated efforts at addressing this issue seem to be regularly thwarted by the stubborn refusal of our morally blinkered human rights vocalists to address reality.
