CHIPPENHAM'S third team emerged from a three-week break but they came out on the losing side, 17-5 against Walcot.
Eager to dust off the cobwebs, visiting Chippenham came out of the blocks quickly and soon had Walcot on the back foot.
The pressure soon told and Dave Burrows drove down the short side to cross the line for a try.
Chippenham continued to play the rest of the half at their opponents' end of the field and seemed to have the game under their control.
But for all the possession and territory gained, they could not convert this into points.
And Walcot stuck to their task, producing some solid defensive work.
At the end of the first half, Walcot broke out with an interception to bring the sides level going into the break.
The game switched to uncontested scrums in the second half and Walcot benefitted from the extra possession.
Although Chippenham defended resolutely, Walcot crossed the line for the second time and added a third late on.
