JOB opportunities have been created at the Swindon Children's Scrapstore.
The Scrapstore, in Pinehurst, has been awarded £70,000 national lottery funding to develop a project that will create 21 jobs for people with physical, mental health and learning difficulties.
The initiative, entitled New Opportunities for Work, will run for three years.
During this period, the participants will be able to gain skills and build their self-confidence.
Local schools and community groups will benefit from the facility, which allows members to help themselves to reusable waste donated from companies and individuals.
Olivia McGann, project manager, said: "This has given a tremendous boost to the work we are doing at the Scrapstore and within the local community. "
