Crime one: At 1.50pm on Monday, March 10, a young woman was indecently assaulted in the subway between the old Doctor's Surgery by the Link Centre and the rear of the cinema at Shaw Ridge Leisure Complex.
The suspect: A man, white, late teens/early 20s, about 5'ft 8ins tall, wearing dark trousers and long sleeved white or cream coloured jumper, black Puffa style body warmer, unshaven. He was riding a child's bicycle that was far too small for him.
The victim was very distressed by her ordeal.
Police would like to speak to a male who walked past the entrance to the subway on the Asda side at the time of the assault. It is possible that he may have either witnessed the assault or saw the suspect in the subway.
